About Dan     
Dan Sheppard is a 25-year veteran of the Corpus Christi Fire Department and has been playing the pipes for 9 years.

As the Pipe Major for the Corpus Christi Fire Department and Water's Edge Pipe & Drums, Dan has had the privilege of working closely with fellow firefighters, as well as a diverse array of community members, bringing robust, traditional Scottish music to the Texas Coastal Bend.

Dan loves to share the pipes with the community. He is especially proud of the emotional impact the pipes have had on high school students during the "Shattered Dreams" program.

Dan is a devoted member of First Christian Church and  frequently plays the pipes as a gift of agape to Walk to Emmaus and Journey to Damascus pilgrims.
